Scam placed a chrge on my Credit card for $4.99 Company does not exist

Noticed a charge on my credit card (MasterCard) for $4.99. Did lots of research and could not find company. Called crdit card fraud dept and they said. "Yes there is a charge but no phone number-it is a scam"

I signed up for ID theft protection.
