Ripped again! - Maytag smoothtop range

I purchased all new Maytag appliances when remodeling our home 5/08. Not using my oven very often except for cakes and frozen quick food I had no need to clean it. Thinking what if it doesn't work, I need to run it to make sure. After reading instructions and doing what they told you I ran it. After cleaning I wiped out a few spots of residue and tried to wipe dark runs on door but realized they were inside. This I'm told by Maytag is from baking food with high moisture. So if you have a high moisture food, whatever that might be, you want to bake, take it next door to your neighbor who has a Kenmore. You'll be fine. Then because Maytag said I baked food with high sugar my door is all scorched on top and front from the cleaning. There was NOTHING on that door before I cleaned it and no spills in the bottom of my oven!!! Well live and learn that only years ago you got what you paid for.
