The owner still owes it's employes wages!

Like other's that worked for this company, I never got paid for the services I gave to the company. I work there for two years first as a loan officer, then as a manager. I tried making changes with the direction the company was taken. However, the owner, David Godwin was not easy to deal with. He would have his staff lie to customers for his lack of follow though. Never took advice from his employees.

The company would take consumers with low credit scores and get the scores up high enough to get a mortgage. The problem was the client would not do what they were told, and there was no training by the company to the customer. Get the money and get out approach. Company would not listen to its employees when we were the ones talking to the unhappy customers.

At the start of 2008 the company stopped making payroll. Our checks were never for the full amount of our pay. David Godwin came to us and explained that he was having a cash flow problem and it was our fault. And if we did not start closing loans he was going to fire us all.
Company started paying us in cash and not paying the taxes on the income for the month of June and July. Then in late July he had his 2004 Porsche 911 repo.

In August he did just that when everyone could not weather the storm and be gone to get behind on our own bills. The company now owes me $14,242 for wages and I understand other employees that was fired he owes another $10,000

I was always fair to the company and most of us looked at the company as we where the owners. We would work Saturdays to try to turn the company around. But when you are not getting paid for your services it was time to make a stand.

If the company going to stay in business it needs to pay its bills.
