I was scammed out of $2980.00 NewYork

I recieved a job offer in the mail to do consumer research and when I went online to check this out everything showed to be legitimate. But when the check they sent me came back from the bank showed an irregular signature we all started to get suspiscious and then the check came back again as being counterfeit. Needless to say I had already spent the money in doing the research that was supposedly required as part of the job. Which was a money transfer by Western union in the amount of &2460.00 and the cost of the western union which was &139.00 and the cost of an electronic product which was &70.00 and then my supposed pay which was $300.00.

As of right now I can no longer get in touch with the person I talked with concerning this job. Everything checked out and looked to be legitimate, Be extremely cautious for this type of scam. I just would like to know how I am supposed to get my money back?
