Miscellaneous

I was in the process of renewing my lease a four days b-for it was time for me to resign lease. The leaseing office phone me amnd stated that all info had no came in form my bank and my employment..

They received the info from the bank but supposely it was not completed. It was 1/27/03 and i had to renew lease by 1/31 they wanted to mail that info back to the bank and wait for the bank to mail it bak i explained that i could just take the info to the bank being that it was right up the street. I was told no..

It could not be done that way. Now with viefication of employment i work as a barber and the owner of the shop stated that he tried to fax the info to apt complex but their fax maxhine was not working i told again to a place to have info fax paid for it to be fax and the fax still was not going through

I called to get the right fax number and it still was not working i call back at 2:00 they wre closed for their hr lunch after trying to gather all the ifno i could to have lease renewed i went and sat in the parking lot waiting for them to come back for lunch

Their hr lunch turn into two hrs they arrive back 5mins to four o'clock when i explained to them want was happening with the fax and try to figure out a way to get all info by 1/31

The manager said it ws nothing she could do and would have to mail everything back out and want to receive it backkeep in mind lease had to be renew by 1/31 she took the info

I had from the bank and my employment and said it was no good and threw the info in the garbage it was explained to if the paper work is not receive by 1/31 they will not be able to except my rent for the mth of feb and i will be charged late charge fee's..

They didn't care what happened but i was never late on my rent they nevr had in problems with me but at this time when help was need from their they basically gave me their rump to kiss.

I informed them that they will not get another penny from me and that i will be moving on by 1/31 their not willing to help me but i was a valued tenant. Now they are keeping my double deposit 1058$ and sent me a letter stating that i owe 200$ more for damage to carpet.

They stated i didn't give them a thirthy day notice that i was moving. My plans was not to move and they know thati did everything that i could to have lease renewed when i asked was their someone esle that i could speak to, to help me out i was speaking to the manager. And supposely it stops their.
