Corrupt Collection Company

I am tired of this company (afni) trying to collect an old Qwest debt from 12 years ago. I received a new letter today (2-3). I am aware of this debt being too old to collect on but how can a company be this outright corrupt?

Most people do not know their rights and send them money. HOW CAN THIS CRAP BE STOPPED? They dinged my credit report last year and I sent off some letters to verify this debt and I disputed the debt with all 3 credit reporting agencies and it was removed quickly. But what about the other people who they scare into paying? How can we stop this thieving company?

I was contacted by a Attorney about being a part of a class action last year and I said no because I thought it was taken care of but now I am ready to be a part of ANY action to stop these POS'. Any Attorney feel free to contact me about taking this company down. I have kept all documents that pertains to this crime.
