To all drivers looking for a job with this company. Beware of wolves in sheeps clothing. The down home family values of this company. (Their Family) The nice new equipment. (Look nice but have a high failure rate.) Pay Below industry standard.

I have been driving commercial vehicals for the last 29 years have seen a lot of changes in the trucking industry. I can remember when their was reward for hard work and loyalty. I retired from being a o/o last year and stated lookng for a company driving position when I recieved a call from Hill Bros. After talking with their recruiter for about two weeks I decided to go and give them a shot. After there detailed orientation week. Which is very good. They treat you well. Your on the road. Things will go well as far as miles for the first month. Than it will fall off to nothing doing locaL Spotting work in Chi., Kansas City for about 20 bucks to go spend 5 to 6 hrs loading or unloading a trl.

My problem mainly was with the amount of time I spent in the trl shop or tracter shop getting things fixed. This was a weekly basis. I spent more time in the maintance shop than I care to comment on. After a month I gave them a 60 day notice. To fulfill my obligation of 90 days. After pulling all the loads ontime. No claims and returning their truck to Omaha, and talking to all the department heads and returning all issued equipment. I was left to find my own way back home. No one at Hill Bros offered to get me home. I walked to the bus stop than to the airport. For my return flight to Chi. Which I paid for.

I have talked with Pat Hill and he reasured me that they were supposed to make sure I got home that someone dropped the ball on their end and he would look into thi matter. This was 2 months ago. Still no reimbursement or so much as a follow up. I hope I can only give drivers a warning to steer clear of this company and their family values. If your a o/o stay a o/o. You will take care of you. Don't think any company will look out for you. Not Even Hill Bros. Thanks for your time
