Euro Million International Lottery Winne

My husband received a letter stating he was the winner of 915,810.00 euros in the Euro Million International Lottery Sweepstakes. He was supposed to ring Dr Ramos Sanches to claim and fax his personal bank details to him. Apparently 10% of the winnings belong to Pasific Seguros & Financier SA because they entered his name for the draw.
Both reference numbers and batch numbers were given for the claim. The letter even had a Spanish stamp and postmark on it.
According to the letter, there had been a mix up of some names and numbers so the December draw results were not released until 22 January.
From other Internet reports I have read, this must be a scam and has been going on for some years. It's a pity the culprits have not yet been jailed.
