Here's the deal:

I ordered a series of items from aswexpress.com, which is an art warehouse company that offers fairly cheap prices and wholesale. I had ordered several creative mark acrylic paints, and received an email after my order was placed about some colors being backordered. I told them to cancel the backorder (they allow you to do so via email) so that I could purchase them elsewhere and receive them hopefully in time before the first date of my art class. Box arrives, and I'm missing one color that I paid for. I send the customer service an email, which doesn't get any replies for several days EVEN though their site tells you after placing an inquiry that someone will contact you in 24 hours. After a while, I place ANOTHER email asking my card to be refunded the color that they DID not send me or... Simply they could make an agitated customer happier by freakin' sending me the color i paid for in the first place. Another few days pass and I finally receive a reply to my 2nd email. The lady explains that the item that I didn't receive was in transit between their two warehouses upon the time that my order had been printed/packed. Therefore, it wasn't available. Just THIS weekend the item has been placed in RH - meaning a permanent bin according to this lady and that it is now available. This frustrates me. They were AWARE that the item i ordered was NOT available and they had still never refunded me OR contacted me letting me KNOW this. To get an idea of the time-lines... Order was placed on 1/12. Order arrives 1/20. Response to email 1/26. Assuming they shipped out my order 1-2 days after i placed it, that gave these flakes OVER a week to contact me about the shortage of my item. If you consider the time from shipping out till the time this lady replied to my email, that's 10-12 days given. Basically, what irritates me above anything is if I had NEVER contacted these people about my missing item, I would of never received it - OR - who knows if I still will. They would of kept my money KNOWING that they shorted a customer an item on their order and had no intent contacting them about it.

Pathetic.
