BB&T Bank causes family misfortune by holding deposits causing over $250.00 in fees

I have only been an account holder at BB&T for a short time and in the past 6 months this company has caused me to louse over $1,000.00in NSF charges. They have been holding my deposits. Sometimes the deposits are held over 7 days causing us to have NSF charges for of all things DEBITS? Now I am confused if you Don't have the money in the account the card is supposed to be declined right? Not at BB&T! They allow transactionslike this to be charged then they take $35.00 everytime they lie to you and tell you that money is in the account. Also, going to the atm and checking your balance is not any better, they tell you there that the deposit has been posted when it has not been! The when one calls about this they are met with "Oh, that's your available balance not your ACTUAL balance"! Then they charge you $5.00 to ask that question, never call and ask unless you are calling your local branch. I want to get with others who have had this same issue and see about filing a class action lawsuit, the BBB was no help because according to the BBB; BB&T isn't a member. Okay now if one asks for fees to be returned BB&T WILL NOT return them under any circumstances, there response is that you should know what your balance is and it's not their fault so no return of fees. Local branches have been cut off from returning fees aswell and there is no way to contact BB&T like a customer service department. They have held several deposits of mine the latest was this week resulting in $135.00 in NSF fees, I may have that exact figure wrong it was 4 NSF charges. People PLEASE lets shut this bank down.
