Red Mange, Bad Puppies, Disreputable Breede

This dog breeder has knowingly sold me an $1800 puppy whom was declared healthy and free of birth defect by the breeder and by a vet. However, after said confirmation the dog was found to have Demodectic "Red" Mange. Considering that it has been proven that this particular mange has ties to genetic lines and is usually contracted because of a birth defect passed on by the dam, the health guarantee I signed should take effect in this case.

At the very least, I feel that the breeder should be responsible to pay the cost of treatment bills, as the treatment can be very costly.in addition, if the dog has to be euthanized because of the condition, I feel that the breeder is responsible for replacement or FULL refund.

Upon calling the breeder, she claimed to have no knowledge of red mange or its symptoms or side-effects. However, after speaking with her for a few moments, she changed her story to include that she did know of the condition but no longer had the dog which may have had the mange, which was the dog that was bred to conceive my puppy.
