Sent bill for $549.99. We never ordered anything. It is a scam, beware!

Sent a invoice stating we owed them $549.99
Invoice had a user name and password along with the website. I didnt log in because i knew it was a scam. Our business has recieved a view of these scams in the mail and sadly paid a few of them.
Im guessing it is a telemarketer scam.
Is the govt going to do something about these people scaming businesses out of money?
