Whirlpool - Maytag
Made to be junk seen it first hand. Also whirlpool fraud on retired employees

Whirlpool / Maytag does make junk I used to work there. While I was on medical they placed me in a none invasive enviorment, I worked In what they call R&D research and devolpment. Thats where they come out with the new designs. I watched first hand how they cheapend the machines thier goal was to get a machine that would last for up to 30 years to die with in 10 years after the consumer bought it. I was told this first hand by the supervisor of R&D after suggesting that they use a hardened polyurathane gear that wouldnt wear out.

Fast Forward whirlpool when they bought out the maytag company then assumed all of its assets and agreements.

They then went in and Destroyed the community of Newton, Iowa where the quality of the Maytag machine was made. The Employees Then ended up losing thier jobs to this mercifuless company. They give them a little bit of a pension and done.

However that wasnt the end of it, they then went after the retiree's health Insurance. Giving them no choice either pay for or go with out. Some of these employee's are in thier late 70's and thier pension is around 600.00 dollars a month. They are currently in a class action suite against whirlpool to get the benefits that was negotiated for them.

I will never own a product made by whirlpool just because of what I know about this company. Here is what they say on thier webpage, how contradicting.
