Nationwide employment scam, potenal abuse of personal information

Adding to the 3 reports already out there about this company:
I replied to a job posting on CraigsList on 12/21/08 for Clown Monkey Clothing. Shortly there after, i received an email stating that i should post on their message board otherwise I wouldn't be considered for employment. After 2 minutes of reading over some posts on the message board, the "president" of clown monkey clothing stated that over 5000 people from all over the country have applied for the half dozen job openings.

So after that I was hoping that it would just blow over and go away. Then on 12/29/08 i saw yet another job posting for the same exact 3 positions at clown monkey clothing!!! The same job posting from the company that already has 5000 applications...

Next thing I know, I received an email today from clownmonkeyclothing.com. They said they were offering the opportunity to share my information to other companies that are looking for employees.

Clown Monkey Clothing has now 6 job openings, and the "president" Tim White says there is now over 7,000 applications. Now they are willing to share my personal info with others?!?!

Very unprofessional approach to employee seeking (if in fact thats what this is) and now I wonder what is really going on with all of us and all our personal information.

On top of all that, I have tried to post on the message board my concern on the matter, yet they now have implemented a "moderator approved only" filter which only approved messages get put on the message board. And my completely clean and NON offensive post concerning this matter was blocked. Proves to me that plenty of other people feel the same way i do.

My advice: stay away! Unless you want someone clownin around with your information.
