Biggest lying scam artists! Do not purchase! Steals your money!

Fidelity Readers Service is not a real company! On Nov 22nd 2008 I was approached by 2 Teenagers, one by the name of Kimbrough, who smoothly sold their pitch about purchasing a magazine subscription for their speech class so they could go to Figi. I never buckle to sales people but I felt pitty for the kid and he assured me that all he needed was the points and if I called to cancel after 3 days I would be issued a full refund and nothing would be deducted from my bank account in the mean time. I am a college student myself and with the economy I was extremely hesitant but am always open to do good deeds.

He said a check would be better becuase it would take 2 weeks to clear and in that time I would have canceled it anyway. After I wrote the check and the scam artists left, I googled the hell out of the company. I was totally scammed and lied to. I called the company the minute it was open and they said I couldnt cancel anything over the phone and I had to postmark my cancelation (on the reciept) WITHIN 3 business days or I would not be issued a refund. So I did. They also said that my purchase would be red flagged so my check would not be cashed once recieved. Two days later it was cashed.

For the next month they claimed I didnt send it on time or that it was still in accounting. I recieved a letter in the mail on December 19th stating I had to have proof from my bank that it was actually cashed. So I faxed over the copy and called the company again. The so called 'supervisors' that I always speak with said they would send out my refund right away and will call me when they do. Its been over a week since I faxed the bank copy and I have called numerous times and they either dont answer, say I need to speak with customer service, or say they'll call me back. I even wrote emails but they were all sent back to me from the 'mail demons' because the contact info is a fraud too.

I dont know how and why this company has gone as long as they have. I have reported them to the BBR and done everything I could to just get my refund back but these people are absolute monsters. I feel they should be fined, shut down, and serve time for scamming people out of their money.
