Did several things wrong when building our house

I just want to warn people when they are considering a JWhome, to make sure inspections are done by someone who knows what they are doing, if I would have known this website was here, I would have spoke up along time ago. We moved into our house, Aug and we have had nothing but problems with our water freezing ever since... Like dummies, they plumbed the water lines, on the outside of our house, and my kitchen is on the southside of the house... And we have to keep the faucet driping at night when the temps get below freezing, yes on a house that is only 8 years old, pretty sad huh. Last winter the pipe busted and cause the wood floor to buckle... And then again this year, 12-22 the pipe froze and flooded the whole downstairs of our house and again the wood floors are buckling,

I just hope that there are enough people to read this website and will take heed to make sure they get workers that know what they are doing. And when they are roofing their house, that they put felt paper under the shingles because 1/2 of our roof has no felt paper... But what happened, was the guys that the hired to frame the house, ended up having to do the whole house theirselves. From start to finish. They framed it, roofed it, shingled it and they lived 3 hours away from the job site. They were only suppose to frame it. Needless to say we have everything on tape as to what the mistakes are. Our stairway is narrower than what it is suppose to be since the guys that framed it wasn't forsure what the wall was so he did whatever he though was right and now instead of having a solid wall, we have a ledge at the top of the stairway...

Oh yeah I could tell you some real good stories about what we went thru... Just be careful and stay on top of the workers that come out and make sure you know what is suppose to be going on and if it's not right stand u for yourself and get it done right...
