Scam!

I got one of those yellow post cards in the mail in January. The one that says:

So I called them, I listend to all the wonderful things they told me about being entered into winning the grand prise of a new car or a trip or money. Then they asked me about what kind of magazines I read and about what kinda of credit card I use (master card or visa) and I answered those questions. They told me that I would get 2 magazines for 2 years and 4 magazines for 5 years as well as a nice watch.

I gave them my information and credit card info and decided to pay it off in a year at $80 a month. I got the watch but it wasnt all that great and I had started getting my magazines in a coupple weeks. It went ok, but they were not sending me the ones I had asked for. (they let you choose) Well about 2-3 months ago I stopped getting about half of my magazines.

I got a call from a strange number this morning very early, almost the exact same number has called me 3 times today:
6:08AM - (423) 317-9594
11:30AM - (423) 317-9129
2:57PM - (423) 317-9089

I never answered any of them because when I got to work I googled the first number that had called me and found out that one was a scam as well. Almost the same exact thing as the one I fell for.

That is when I decided to look up the one I had done. And unfortunatly I found out that I fell for the scam. I have paid these people for the past 11 months. January is suppsed to be my last payment. It made me really angry to find out that I have lost $960 to this scam. And Im pretty sure that once I make my last payment my magazines will probably stop comming all together.

I am going to try and see what I can do as far as talking to my bank goes. But I want to warn you all that you should NEVER call these people. I know I wont be able to get all of my money back, but maybe I can help someone else so that they can keep theirs. I could have used mine to help me this year when I start school.

Dont fall for it please.
