Once again ADVANTA attempts to bully customers who have been fraudulenty overcharged in excessively enormous interest rates for over the last 4 years. "You either pay up, accept out pay off plan, or be tainted with litigation and bad credit" Nice options. They are the company who put us in the mess with the excessive hidden interest costs. They are the company who sent the little blank checks monthly in the mail to pay off "other debtors" and they are the company who end up saying..."OH... You do have excellent credit, have never missed a payment, and. Uh. Uh... So we upped the interest... That's what all credit card companies do". Wrong. That is NOT what all credit card companies do.

In fact, my other credit card company actually decreased my interest rate due to my perfect timely payments.
There is no way to discuss a timely pay off plan with this Advanta outfit. Their new bargaining plan will only reduce the interest on one's debt from 38% to 9.9% and that still will not allow one to get back to place one on the game board.

When I asked if I could simply pay off the debt with the initial interest rate they flatly refused and then threatened litigation. When I had explained that I am suffering from a terminal illness there was still no alternative plan to present to me. The only response was that it was their way or no way and that I had to meet their deadline. Deadline. Knowing my days are numbered... That "dead" "line" will not be as impossible to meet as their required proposals. God bless you all.
