I also received the same letter, with the contact persons name being Monique Costa and the phone number was different. Funny thing is, I don't play the lottery. Ever. First red light. So, when I received this letter, and of course with the economy the way it is, I really could have used this money, it just so happened that the day before, I read an AOL article, that advised against this very scam. Second red light. Almost instantly my husband and daughter were convinced it was fake. I knew it was, but because of the need for money, we checked it out anyway.

I went straight to the internet and keyed in this United Fiduciary Trustees, and low a behold, SCAM was the first word mentioned. Third red light and your busted. Needless to say, I have not called the number. That would give them even more information on you, caller ID, you know... Back a few months ago we were victimized by someone who wrote a $10,000 check on our company account. That was the worst thing that had ever happened to us. It took months to get things changed around so that our account was secure again. Also, we could not get any law enforcement to get a report. Because the check came from a bogus address in Deleware, they would not take a report. So, if there is anyone out there that would be interested in involving law enforcement, please let me know. I will be more than happy to turn over this load of crap to you.

BTW, my check has Bertelsmann Direct and Chase Bank on it. I think Chase would be pretty upset if they knew this.
