I placed a single order for over $500 on the internet, supposedly qualifying for 6 months free interest. One of the items was back-ordered, resulting in the merchant billing this single order in 2 separate amounts.
As a result, the BillMeLater system decided that this was 2 separate transactions, qualifying for only 3 months free interest.
The entire principle was paid within 6 months, as I agreed to. However, they have added all kinds of interest and fees now.
Over the last 4 months I have called them 5 times, and faxed them the original invoice showing a single purchase over $500. Until yesterday I have been told everytime that I was correct and it would be straightened out.
They even reversed some of the incorrect charges, but then started adding on more!
On my last phone call I was told that there was nothing they could do, and that I owed them all this interest and fees. You cxan imagine what I told them. They continue to send me email, and automated phone calls every day - just a waste of time as I will never pay them.
This companies customer service STINKS!!
