Wrongfull and misleading statement

After a number of request for a answer of why I was charged for an ER visit, when I was told I was going to Renown ICU bed by Carson Valley Medical center ER. First request was 3/12/08. I have sent Cert. Letters, I have called and record the calls and dates I calledwith no answer. I called the CFO Renown, Mark Johnson on 11/14/08. He stated to me that CVMC put on the report ER to ER, which I was told by CVMC after they were looking for a bed for me at 3 hospitals. After abount an hour they stated a bed has come available at Renown. CVMC arranged a transport from there to Renown, as I understood I was going to be admitted. I was in Renown's ER for about 6 hours. On Dec. 10 I received a letter from a Laurence Laughlin. The letter states the transfer was from Carson Tahoe Hospital not CVMC. It also states the hospital was on "divert" status, which was never told to me at CVMC. I am being billed for ER charges that I was told I was being transfered to a ICU room to be watched. I f I wanted to be transfered to an ER I would of gone to Carson Tahoe Hospital, as it is only 17 miles from CVMC, were Renown is over 48 miles. Note upon transport I was in stable condition, with stable vital signs. I would like a disciplinary action taken against both hospitals for incorrect records and for misleading me to believe I was going to a bed in ICU.
