Scam Artists!

I saw the infomercial on tv: Ciggarest is so sure the we can help you quit smoking that we would like to send it to you free! You only pay the shipping, no obligation!
I called the number, asked the guy if there are any other charges later. He said that I would be sent a 30 day supply, then if I didn't want the auto ship, to cancel with the number that would be enclosed in the package. He assured me that there were no other charges.
I received the package in around five days or so, called the number and cancelled any future shipments. No problem.

This was in October. Now in November, my payments to companies that I am doing business with are failing. I call to find out that there is a 99.80 charge from Ciggarest. I call. The guy says that I was sent a 90 day supply and am required to pay for it or send it back. Fine, I'll send it back. Have your supervisor call me as this is false advertising and I feel that consumers are delibertly being misled.

Supervisor calls me. I can open the packages and remove 30 days of each product, as it is after all a 90 day supply. (I ordered a 30 day supply, not a 90 day supply as was advertised.) She said that if I wanted to go ahead and keep what I have, they won't bill me the next 99.80. What? Another charge?"Yes we sent you a 90 day supply, but if you want to keep it we will wave the next charge to your credit card."

Fine, seems like that will be less hassle. We all know how hard it is to get your money back.
Next day, another 99.80 on my credit card! Next Day! Called, held for 15min, with no answer.

I have cancelled my credit card but there isn't much else that can be done as I am the one that gave them my information in the first place, and that is with the protection insurance on my card. Go figure.
