Tried to scam for mystery shopper

I, like others recieved a letter to become a mystery shopper from mart research & services inc. This letter stated for me to spend 100 dollers and send them the reciets. They sent me a check for $3,840 and stated i was to cash the check keep $300 dollars and wire the rest to these people in new york ny. Amy gravel new york, anthony cohen new york, hellen thomas newyork, benard young new york, theo matins new york and angelica newman new york ny. This was supposed to be part of my training. It stated to call back with 8 digit reference money gram transfer number imediately after completion and to fax shopping reciepts for clarifications purposes and completed evalution forms after depositing my check for payment and completing assignments. The breakdown of money was as follows
probation training pay - $300.
Required fund to be transferred — $3190
service charge&$200
funds needed for shopping &$150
total $3840.00
I know this didn't even make sense the way they wanted to send money to so many different people. I 'm glad i researched this and knew it was just another scam artist trying to get rich from others. I hop no one falls prey to their scams and i hope who ever is doing this gets what they deserve for in punishment if found who they are.
