AFNI is up to there old tricks again

I found out thru my credit report which i obtained from Bank of America, this was done in June of this year. I discoevered that AFNI collection agency place $133.00 dollars on my account. After looking into this matter i obtained AFNI contact information and i called them to get some help regarding this issue. All i was told by them that I needed to pay this bill. I asked over and over for some information any info. I recieved nothing so far. Here is what i found regarding AFNI claim. First the $133.00 charge is for Verizon lan line service i had back in 2001 we are now in 2008 and there a thing called statue of limitation is six years. After looking into this matter it seems to m that AFNI just posted is in march of this year making it seem as if i had just recently used is service. This is fraud after searching the internet i noticed how many issue this company has with regards fraud. I was wondering if i am going about it the right way? I need help and advice.
