The Ticket Clinic
Will end up costing you more than your ticket!

I am 29 years old. I got my first speeding ticket ever. I was accused of going 15 miles over the speed limit at a speedtrap. I called the ticket clinic hoping the ticket will get dismissed.

I was told by the girls at the ticket clinic that it will likely get dismissed since I have a clean driving record or the judgment will be withheld. I was told that if the judgment was withheld, the cost (excluding the ticket clinic fee which was $89.00) will be up to the cost of my ticket ($188.00) in the worst case scenario and no points will be assessed.

Four months later, I receive a letter telling me to pay the court costs of $201.50 and there were no points assessed. Please note that this was HIGHER than my original ticket cost, $188.00. Therefore, this ticket ended up costing me $89.00 tax (ticket clinic fee), and $201.50 for court costs. This all costed me almost $300.00.

It would have been MUCH cheaper if I just took the driving school option. I would have had no points assessed and it would have costed $160.00 total.

What's the point of using ticket clinic if I could have had the same result for a cheaper price if I had just chosen the driving school option?

I emailed the ticket clinic attorney who handled my case telling him I was not happy. He told me via email he would call me and never did. I emailed him again and never received a response. Also, please note that after they take your money, when you call to follow up or talk to the attorney they are extremely RUDE.

Don't waste your money. Take the driving school option. It will cost you less in money and in time.
