False Rebate Offer: Bounced $100 Rebate check on Purchased Item

I purchased a Fijitsu Laptop computer, Model # FPCR32707 from Fry Electronics whose address is described above, on August 06 under their sales promotion, which offered a $100.00 rebate.By the same transaction, Fry Electronics was also introducting a credit card from First Electronic Bank, P.O. Box 760, Draper, UT 84020-0760. I eventually received the promised $100.00 rebate on 11/18/08, and paid same into my account with Bank of America.By a letter dated 11/25/08, the Bank of America wrote to notify me that the $100.00 rebate check which they credited to my account, had bounced; thereby forcing my account into a negative balance, plus related bank charges! This is a very distressful experience to me and I felt that this should be brought to the attention of the B.B. B, so as to: 1. Checkmate such a dishonest business practice, and 2. Compel Fry Electronics and their associates, to compensate me adequately for such an embarrassing inconveniece or be prepared to face the legal consequences very soon. 3. Forestall any future reoccurence on unsuspecting public. I look forward to your reactions. Thank you. J.N.
