Walgreens forces their employees to sell their name brand products. Certain employees earn a percentage of certain items sold. Employees are expected to sell a certain amount of product in order to get those extra bonessus. If employees do not meet that quota per day the employer will have a talk with employee and ask why sales are low. I rang up a customer buying products which were giving me a bonus. I was meeting my quota for the day. One month later I am accused of giving so called customer a discount. Totally untrue. Loss prevention did not investigate and only took an assistant managers word that claimed to seeing me give such discount. I got fired. My point is I believe Walgreens is finding excuses to fire employees as opposed to to being seen as a company that is hurting and laying employees off like other companies. Big chip on their shoulder. Embarresed to admit they made a mistake.
