Unsolicited Books and 'Free Gifts", ON Canada

Rodale Books has sent me a letter offering to send me a book, whcih they want me to pay for, and another free book which, if I do nothing, will arrive in 3-4 weeks. Then, after I receive it, if I do nothing, I will be billed for the book.

I have not requested anything from Rodale and do not want to receive anything as I will then have to make the effort and incur the expense to send back. There is no phone, fax or email information on any of the correspondence, only a PO Box, so I cannot contact them to refuse this offer, and tell them to take me off their list! I can only hope that they receive my refusal post card on time. Otherwise, I will be in the same position as some of the other Rodale complainants who are listed on usacomplaints.com website.

This company should be stopped from sending totally unsolicited material.
