My friends - We are living in, and have been living in the Age of Greed. This deal from STI (southwest trust inc.) is unfavorable, particularly on your short end of the stick. This is an old scam that has been reborn.

FOR: To add what another stated - $37000 business/home grant application has been approved; check for $3980.40, pending contact with claim mgr andrew coxwel or lisa woodworth, the check can be good. Good, as in, providing your ID, bank account info, and any other good (lets fool you) stuff you are willing to provide. WTF? Notice the lowercase.

WHAT DO YOU GET/PROVIDE? $37000. This is called the "pigeon drop". Slang for sucker. Say, "You drop the pigeon ($1000) into my account, and it will bring in $3000 and give you half." OOPS! The guy with my $1500 skipped... Imagine that.

HISTORY: We have not provided any "applications" for this so called grant. Nor have the they provided a physical address for the upgraded property, although not specified a must have. Could I live in a tent somewhere in the woods just as well? Maybe get a $30k tent?

It Looks legitimate, but there are too many red flags - Urgent, International trust, no return address, no postal mark (other than 96 Canada stamp) which comes off easily), Must comply by 21Nov to recieve any payment, last and final notice (have not seen any other notice) I could get $37000 for my property (I don't have), living on an Air Force base... Selected options, one of which is NO THANKS. The list goes on.

CONCLUSION: Well, The bank will have to hold the 4k check, and natuarally contact the "union bank of california" Whamo - your account number... Unauthorized drafts ring a bell? Call the phone number provided (218-892-3159) cell phone) and zammo. They got your account number, OOPS!

I have contated thes people on a work number (land line). The recording you receive is questionable at best. They need a way to mount.

I am too savvy to fall for this jazz, and after scrutinization, this is the newest of old jokes. Cons have been going on endlessly. If it too good to be true...
