Took my 1500.00 and I did not get the animals nor a refund

She (Paula Crawford) advertised a blue & white pied French bulldog male pup on puppyfind and another site (but I responded to the puppyfind ad). When I responded to her ad, she emailed me back to let me know that she not only had the male pup that she had advertised, but also his blue & white pied sister. She requested that I send her 1500.00 as a deposit to hold the pair when they were 3 1/2 weeks old and the balance was due at 8 weeks and we were going to drive out and come and get them in person. When I asked for updated photos at 7 weeks to make sure we were still on track (and that she actually had these puppies - and was not importing them, or did not steal the original pictures from someone else) - she ignored me for a few days, then when I re-emailed her - she gave me some excuses about unexpected C-sections, ect keeping her too busy but she would try to get new pics to me in a day or two. Ten (10) days after not hearing from her and NO new pictures - I requested a refund, as it was getting obvious to me that I was being scammed. I live 21 hrs 1 way from her. I feel that this distance gives her comfort in taking my money. To this day - I have not received an updated photo, nor a refund, and she keeps telling me she will send me a refund when I send her my info and I remove the paypal dispute. What a joke of an excuse - all my info was included with my paypal payments of 1500.00 in deposit. She continues to advertise this pup (with the same picture old picture) and other puppies, horses, riding lessens ect.
