Sounds like the same thing that happened to everyone else. Italian speaking man who called himself Franceso stopped me on 26th street between 5th ave and broadway asking for directions to the lincoln tunnel. Then proceeded to tell me he came from the javits center for a fashion show, has jackets that were given to him as a bonus form his boss but cant bring them back with him to italy because of taxes.

Said he will give 3 for free and just sell me one for $900 or so. He ended up coming down to $100 so though it was a great deal, even though i was hesitant at first. He was driving a new silver cadillac suv, about 5ft 6, kind of husky. BEWARE! If a man who sounds like this comes up to you. And please report it. It is a huge scam and would be greatly appreciated if he was caught because i'm sure it would make many of the people who were ripped off, including myself, very happy.
