Wrongly Sued — Have to go to court to fight

Miscellaneous

I am also being sued for debt that is not mine. I recently got married and changed my name and then Mann-Bracken starts calling me to collect a debt that isn't even mine. All I know to do is go to court with social security card, tax records, credit report etc and prove that this is not my debt. Their office did provide me with information about the correct person's SS# and told me on the phone that my number did not match their records. I thought that was the end of it but then I received the summons from court.

I have heard this is a BIG problem with collection agencies these days going after EVERYONE with a name even close just to see if they will pay.

Anyone or a lawyer willing to sign up for a class action lawsuit. I will probably file a claim in small claims court just to get back my expenses for loss wages, mileage and postage etc. It will be worth the effort just to take their sorry selves back to court.

RIPOFF Report — this is wrong and has to be stopped. HELP PLEASE

Thanks
