Injured and kicked to the cu

I worked for Swift for about 4 months.injured my knee getting off the catwalk on the back of the tractor. When I reported the injury, I was told to contact workers comp. Which I did. The doctors report stated knee strain to one knee and a possible torn miniscus on the other. The insurance co. Tried to say it was pre-existing and denied me compensation. Because of the denial, when I contacted Swift, they informed me that they were terminating me. Because of all this, I have been given notice of eviction from my apartment and possibly repossesion of my personal vehicle.

When I went to orientation in Syracuse NY, I was told that Swift stood by their employees. I was very excited to hear this. I should have known it was too good to be true. I guess they lied.
