Selling auto repair that is not needed

I went into Merlin's to have my oil changed today. Just a warning, they tried to sell me new wheel bearings for $391.00 that I did not need. They marked on my receipt that wheel bearings are okay and did not include any other paperwork. When I got home I called them back and Merlin's confirmed that I needed the work ASAP or my brakes would go bad too. I had my mechanic, my father (a former mechanic) and, a GM mechanic (friend) all jacking up the car and checking the wheel. No problems at all. They were trying to rip me off. No noise, no rocking, nothing. Beware of merlins.
