They sent me a letter with a check for $3.997.45, and said that i was the lucky winner in US funds in the amount of $57,00.00 and that the sum mentioned above was the taxes and clearance fees.
And a phone # to call and verify/activate the check so that i could cash it, i told {katie brown} that i didn't have a finaniccal institution, that i used wal-mart and she said to cash it there and call her back.

I took it to the bank in my town and they said that it was a fraud and that there was a write-up for the same thing in the news paper. I looked in the paper and sure enough, there it was-a check almost the same as mine, except for the names.

I really could use the money. It should be illeagal to get peoples hope up that way.
