Sunmount and Delehanty ripoff Not keeping their word

Once again we the staff of Sunmount DDSo have been deceive. We were made to think that, if we were assulted by a consumer, we the staff could file charges. Well its not that way... Lets take it back a few months. I was assulted again by the same consumer, punched in the upper left eye.

It left a small abraision and some swelling... Followed threw the very next morning with state trooper, I entered the office, state trooper file my complaint, he was pretty rude too. He obseverd the small abraision above my eye, then asked me if I got medical tratment? I said the nurse at work took care of it, i haven't seen a doctor yet. We'll he then said to me.."

You haven't seeked medical attention, and its pretty small, its not going to be classified as an assult.." We'll this blew me out of the water. I explained to him this consumer stated eairler he was going to punch me in the face, and put me in the hospital. Then he dose was he said he was going to do. Thats almost premeditated. So the tropper stated he was going fax it over to the DAs office and its up to him on what will go on with it.

We'll ok then. We'll a day passed no nothing... I called the DAs office and asked what was going on? He just got the fax that day. So on and on. I asked if something was going to be done. Delehanty then begain to tell me, "We can't classify it as being a assult. "I said he punched me in my head, that not an assult, what is it? Delenhanty then stated"If it didn't affect my every day activies, or it didn't put me out of work, its not classified as an assult." We'll then I said "Why then the 1st time this happened to me, I ended up with a concussion and a week off of work. Even then nothing was done."

He then stated "We maybe you arne't trained We'll enough to handle these people, or even so maybe your staff aren't doing thier jobs. You should be a little more aware of your surroundings. You should be taking this up to your union. Because theirs nothing I can do." I then asked him about sex assault, when a consumer groped her then hit her, she didn't seek medical treatment or work.

Delehanty replied "Those are two different individuals, and two different occurance." I asked him what was the differnce, he wouldn't go into it, he then made a comment" It sounds like you are trying to get revenge on this comsumer."

I stated "No I just want justice, Obvious Iam not getting it. "Delehanty then stated"Its the law, not us, you need to change the law, in order for us to do anything. So your telling me the law states its up to You (DA) or the state tropers, to say if its an assult or not. No reply from the DA. We'll at this time i was so disapionted i ended the conversation.

I the tryed to call Barbra Hawes, 3 times She was in a meeting, not in, or shes busy. We'll I left My name in hopes she would get a hold of me... Nothing. Boy thou, if your certain consumer at the CIT you bet she would return that phone call with in 5 minutes. Next time i'll ask that consumer to call her for me.

We have no system anymore, they do something wronge and have no means what so ever to teach them whats right. The point system, they don't care if they have a piont or not. Its messed up... We the staff have to play the game. No matter What.
