Spiegel/Privilege Pass
Spiegel sold my credit card information to Privilege Pass and without knowing I have been charged for something called Privilege Pass

I recently discovered that I have been charged $14.95 a month for something called Privilege Pass. For the first time ever, I made a purchase on the internet through Spiegel. At that time, so I have been told, I checked a box that offered a discount on my next purchase. I have also been told that somewhere in this box there was a note that said that checking this box would sign me up for something called Privilege Pass. I have no idea what this is or what it does and when I called the phone no. On my credit card bill the person on the other end of the phone was not able to tell me what it was that they did. I asked them to cancel what ever it is that I have signed up for and to refund all charges. I was told that they would not refund more than the current months charge of $14.95.
I have called the Spiegel corporate office in Hampton, Va. To complain about these practices. I was put into the voicemail of Michael Pettipas, "Pres. Of Customer Service" I intend to press Spiegel in hopes that they will change these types of practices. I had been a customer of Spiegel for over 25 years and as of now, will never be again.
I feel that this is wrong and something should be done about this kind of consumer ripoff. I have read other bloggs on the internet about this same company, Privilege Pass. I would like to organize a group to flush out this company and stop them from further ripoffs.
