Sweepstakes Scam MIAMI FL

A friend of mine received a call from a Mr. Michael Paul to notify him that he was the lucky winner of $422,000 from Publisher Direct Sweepstakes based in Miami FL. He stated that $137,000 had been taken out for taxes, leaving the sum of $285,000. However, there was an additional "Interstate Tax Fee" of $4850.75 that had to be paid before the funds could be released. He was instructed to wire this funds to a man with an address in Washington DC. As soon as he received the money, the $285,000 would be immediately wired to his bank account.
