PURE Marketing (AKA Choice Promotional Group)
Criminals marketing under a pyramid scheme - one GIANT scam

Miscellaneous

Choice Promotional Group, changed it's name to PURE Marketing to hide from the public (much like EFG Marketing Solutions, Peerless Marketing Concepts, 3W Marketing and KSM Marketing Group) is a giant scam that several hungry job seekers get suckered into. These marketing groups thrive off a pyramid scheme, in which only the top (unreachable) tiers of the workforce are benefitted. More than 99% of people never reach any of the promises and fortune that companies like this dangle in front of you.

If you are considering this type of marketing job - PLEASE READ ON!

The jobs these companies post on careerbuilder or craiglist seem attractive. They often state they are looking for "sports-minded people trying to jump-start their career." In addition, they make it clear that no experience is necessary and a college degree is preferred.in essence, they will take anyone willing to work 70-80 hours a week, going door-to-door selling pieces of paper with no health benefits, a high tax bracket and 100% commission. They bring you in for initial interview and you meet with Josh Woodford (the President) who convinces you that you are doing corporate marketing, when you're actually not doing anything close. The second interview requires you to go door-to-door shadowing one of the current workers. The person you are shadowing are taught to tell you that they don't go door-to-door everyday, this is not true. They will try and fill your head up with promises that don't exist, they are essentially brainwashed themselves. The only reason people are with these companies is because they are fooled by the broken promise that you will be a small business owner within 9-12 months. The job requires you to sell coupons door to door (everyday) and you MUST recruit people under you in order to move up. Recruiting people is the most difficult since nobody wants to do this long-term. Most people (95%) actually quit or can no longer afford to work off 100% comission within the first few weeks - THIS IS WHAT THE COMPANY BANKS ON. They want to leech off people who can only do this job for a few weeks and then quit. This cam of a job requires you to work 10-12 hours per day, on your feet begging people to buy worthless coupons. It does not cost this business any money at all. You are actually not considered an employee, you are subcontracted so the companies don't get taxed. This is a big surprise come April when you submit your taxes and you owe a hefty amount because you were considered a subcontracted business and didn't pay any taxes. The few people that hang in there for months aren't rewarded, until a new office opens - which takes 2 or 3 years, in the mean time they just make a little more money off each coupon card they sell to reward their seniority. These types of companies took alot about promises and try and sugar-coat everything. While I was at Choice Promotional, I saw people who somehow stuck it out for close 6 or 7 months, and then Josh Woodford would randomly fire them and not give us an explanation why. The real reason why they were fired, was because they were getting too close to the 9 month promise of opening up a business that they would never give you in the first place. This is a dangerous, complete waste of time job that rewards about. 0062% that are offered the job. Save your dignity and don't apply to these jobs.

Josh Woodford is a big-headed money grubbing SCAM artist who will someday get locked up. His sleezy assistants - Allison Crea and Brenden Boylan, are working on the inside with Josh and making money off everyone that comes through the door. They don't care about you, as much as they pretend to. Allison Crea is a dumb bimbo, probably Josh Woodford's she-male girlfriend that doesn't have any talent whatsoever - as much as Josh tries to praise her. Brenden is a whiney little punk, who is probably Josh's other lover. All three are arrogant pricks that have a nice little scam going. This is all coming from someone who was with company for nearly four months and left on my own accord.

FYI - CHOICE Promotional Group has changed it's name to PURE Marketing and is continually moving so people don't find out the truth behind his scam.
