On September 24 a young salesman came to my door to sell magazines. An affable young man in maybe his late teens who was one of the best fast talkers I ever encountered.

He used the fact that I had grandchildren to lure me into purchasing magazines and paying by check all the time ASSURING ME IT WOULD NOT HIT MY BANK until the middle of October.

Well, he lied! The check DID hit my bank and as a consequence I was overdrawn but had to use my savings to cover the cost of the overdraft with cost me another $10.00!

After having read Aubrey from Texas, I'm quite sure this is the same company because this is the exact same situation I had here with the fast talking young man.
I contacted my bank and they have assured me that there is nothing I can now do about these thieving liars who promise one thing then do another.

This young man clearly plays on people by telling them that this one sale will seal the deal for him to get a trip to Spain!

I have no idea where the physical company is or how to contact them via email or phone. It was NOT on the back of the cashed check!

If anyone knows how to contact this company please respond on here so that I too may contact them and let them know what I think of their deceitful practices.
There should be a law against this kind of thing happening to people who trust in the word of others and you can depend on one thing, if those magazines do not arrive for my grandchildren, I will be filing a claim with the State's Attorney both here and in the city of the place that cashed my check.

To enter someone's home with the intent of deceiving them into giving you a check which you promise to hold and then do not is an egregious assault on that person as an individual and should be brought to light.
