Hiringmax
Scam: you don't want to use them

Miscellaneous

I went to Hiringmax because they kept sending me e-mails. They promissed to help me write my resume. They did not, they kept giving ideas, but really did not break down the process to write a resume.

They promissed to open the dialoge of communication. What they did was left a message and did not hear back from the contact. I could have done that.

They promissed to get my resume out in front of the hiring managers. They e-mailed and faxed my resume to the companies human resource departments. I could have done a lot better with Apple One who actually has a team that will get my resume out there.

Fred is a scam artist, he used my research and knoweldge to sell to others. He did not have list of key words that is used for resume scanners used by human resource departments, I gave him a list after doing the research.

I bought some books that helped me better then wasting my time, gas, and money on Hiringmax. Books on how to write a resume with examples and key words: Resumes that knock em dead. For difficult interview questions pick up the book: Interviews that knock em dead. These are both great references and cost a lot less then what Fred has to offer.

You can also search University web sites for additional information on how to write resumes, cover letters, follow up, interviews and such. Cal State Fullerton has a good web site:

Don't pay Fred a dime. He wont let you enter his class until you pay and wont give you a refund, I tried. He should be prosecuted for his Scam by the District Attorney's Office. Strange enough, shortly after this all occured with him, I had identity theft on my personal account. Was it related, I'm not sure, but experiencing how he treated me and the scam he is doing, I would not be surprised.

Stay away from his services, you can do better with a more ligitmate company and utilizing the sources listed herein.
