Daughter promised $5,000 weekly, then dumped in Pennsylvania

My daughter was flown out of Portland, Oregon four days ago with the promise of making $5,000 a week, free room and board, and all travel expenses paid.

Let me tell all you young adults and parents out there: Face to Face Technologies, among the many names this "company" uses, is a scam. They promise you the world until you get there, and then they tell you, "If you don't like the work, or if it's not the right job for you, then we'll send you home, no questions asked." That is not true.

This morning my daughter told her "manager" that she has family issues back home and needs to get home now. His response was, "How are you going to get there?" Her response was, "You told me on day one, if I want to go home, you'll send me with no questions asked." Instead, they dumped her in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, and told her to find her own way home. They left her on the side of the road and said there should be a gas station half a mile up the road.

My husband and I, in a complete panic, have been trying to figure out how to keep these people away from her long enough to get her to the bus station and home.

I will not stop until I find Mark Shumate, the president of this company and of all the other phony companies he runs, and see him in prison. He is sending these young adults out on the streets to sell his phony magazines. He teaches these kids to lie to unsuspecting buyers and how to rip them off, all the while he is profiting and they (the kids and young adults) are being arrested for scamming the general population. He thinks he is untouchable, but he is not.

Mark Shumate, if that is your real name, you will be brought to justice, these poor young people will be cleared of all wrongdoing, and you will be fed to the wolves.

To all the parents: protect and educate your families, and keep this man from getting his scamming, law-breaking hands on any more of our children.
