Unauthorized withdrawal - refused refund

On Sept 1 I was looking into on-line loans. I did fill out several applications but passed on additional offers for car loans, credit cards, id protection etc. On Sept 2, by checking account was debited $31.85 by a company I had never heard of. I had no idea what the billing was for.

I looked up the company on line and came across many complaints filed over the past few days for plrcinc.

I got the phone number for the company from my credit union. I called. Their answering system even had a number code for people in my situation. I got a website for a refund form which I filled out on the evening of Sept. 2. When I checked at another website set up to monitor refund requests, I was told that I had been sent an e-mail asking for more information. I never received this or any other e-mail communications from this company. I found the additional information form on line and filled it out.

I went to the update file again where I found out that my refund had been denied since nothing indicated that the application had been filled out fraudulently. I was told that I had filled it out in error (I don't think so!) and that it was not their policy to refund under these circumstances.

They also indicated that they had sent me numerous e-mails, one spelling out the terms of my association with them. Never received one. Not in trash, not in spam, not in junk mail.

These people need to be stopped. Any repudable company would refund a charge for a product that hadn't been used and was not wanted when the refund was requested within such a short period of time.
