I too was ripped off by Ticketnest. Please, consumers beware and spread the word. I googled the event and location of where I was attempting to purchase tickets. (Wharton Center Wicked). The first site available which stated "Wharton Center Wicked", I searched for tickets. Being unfamiliar with the theatre I called the 1-800 number and spoke to a sales rep. She steared me to purchase $89.00 tickets which she said were great seats.

In the end what I recieved in the mail were actually $38.00 tickets for the price of $89.00. There were 300 remaining tickets at the Wharton Center for $38.00. The seats I paid $89.00 plus $25.00 processing fee plus a $12.00 shipping fee were balcony poor seats. I paid over 200.00 for 2 tickets that actually cost only $76.00 at the theatre. They do not represent themselves as a scalping site and are very deceptive.

Even with calling their representative to varify that they were good seats and prices they verbally lie. Ticketnest will give no refund, even if you atttempt to return tickets prior to the event. The Wharton Center states they have irrate patrons that have been ripped off by ticketnest in the past and asked that I file a complaint agaist them. I did file with the BBB but ticketnest would not admit any wrong. If anyone plans on purchasing any tickets on line you must somehow make sure that you are speaking to the theatre/building that is hosting the event. Do not be fooled by their look a like sites.
