Arsenal Van Lines
Did not keep their delivery promise of transporting my goods safely. They have not delivered my recliner rocker and don't care. Hidden chages surfaced on pickup day

Miscellaneous

On April I made arrangements with Arsenal Van Lines to move half of my household goods from Warner Robins Georgia to San Antonio Texas. I gave them a list of every piece of furniture they were to take and asked for the total I would have to pay. I asked them to make sure they included ALL charges and they knew what they had to box up, like my TV and curio cabinet.

They gave me a price of $1,309.00. On pickup day (19 Jul 08) they charged me $1,562.82 which included packing, TR Fee, extra stop fee, and F. S Chanz 8x (?) which the company told me they had included all charges in their fee and they hadn't. I guess that's why their bid was lower than the other companies. After the movers finished picking up my furniture they had the gall to ask me for a tip! Which I did not give. They said my furniture would get to San Antonio and be delivered within five days.

When the furniture arrived in San Antonio (24 Jul 08), my sister told me several of the boxes were all wet, damaged and too flimsy to pick up which resulted in broken items in the boxes and water damage on my dining room table.

They did not assemble the headboard to the bed. They left it leaning on the wall with the bed pushed up to it making it look attached. One of the two recliner rockers was not delivered and my armoir has a lot of missing wood tiles.

When I called them from my home here in Georgia to tell them all the problems, they told me my recliner was behind someone elses furniture and they would deliver it to my sister when they delivered that furniture in a few days. I also sent them pictures of the dining room table.

I have been calling them every two or three days and Arsenal Van Lines said they had nothing to do with the move because they had hired someone else to do the move.instead he gave me the phone number of the sub-contractor. I told him he had to deal with the sub-contractor because I had hired them and not the sub-contractor.

I called the sub-contractor anyway and they couldn't give me a delivery date. I haven't heard anything from anyone for quite a while now. It has been over a month since my delivery date and they still can't give me my recliner. Now they don't even answer my calls.

I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.
