Sends job oppportunities and asks me to fill out further information along with references' email addresses, etc. They never reveal the real company/client name then I never hear about the same position

This firm keeps sending me Emails about possible job opportunities. They ask me to log in to their site and fill out more information and add references. I never hear back about the same job twice or who the hiring company is. Their email has a different person's signature each time and no reply address. I think this is all a marketing deal for online universities and others. I'm seriously thinking that they have no real jobs to offer and they just want your information. I'm so regretting having wasted my time.:- (
