Threatening Phone Call - Accused of Fraud/Breach of Contract - $1,900 Due

It is Saturday morning at 9:30 and Mark Price called me on my cell phone stating that he was a private investigator and that I was being pursued by the authorities and that I must contact the lead investigator named Lonnie Friedman immediately. He stated that he was with Litigation Consulting Services and gave me a case number. The number he instructed me to call is (240) 235-5616. I called that number and spoke with a man named Lonnie Friedman who asked for my case number. Lonnie asked me who I was and then told me the last four digits of my social security number as well as that I was being pursued for fraud, breach of contract, etc., etc... I asked him who the client was and he told me Providian Bank. He said that I owed $1,900 and he then told me my address and that I was going to be served papers of some sort. I told him to do whatever he needed to do and I hung up on him. I went to the computer and did a search on Providian and was directed to Washngton Mutual. I contacted Washington Mutual and told them the story. They asked for my social security number and found no account or debt with them. They said they acquired Providian and had access to all of the records. I asked them what I should do and they said to contact the police department both locally and in Bethesda, Maryland. I will do exactly that first thing Monday morning.
