I am victim of never can cancel but must pay for product you don't want and have sent back

I fell victim to an internet scam it appears. I paid for a trial version of colonsmart, $4.95. Before it arrived I became ill, had to have upper GI test and thought it better not to try this product at all since I was under a doctor's care.

So, I called the number on the unopened package, got a representative right away, I told him I wish to cancel and he told me exactly what to do. He said return the unopened package, marked refused and said the $4.95 would be credited back to my credit card. WoW! How easy that was, well... It didn't happen, instead I recieved another package within just days, returned it as adviced, but then when I got my credit card bill, not only was the $4.95 still there but an additional charge of 88.97...

I started trying to call customer service then and stayed on the phone on hold for what seemed like forever, I gave up.

So... I went to their web page and saw similar reports... But meanwhile I had recieved an email from their customer support dept. It was this address I sent repeated mails asking them to cancel. NO reply.
I got my credit card company involved and low and behold colon smart is fighting the dispute by saying I did not cancel before recieiving the second package... Which by the way they send within days of the first one, no way one would need it again that soon. But it's all about hooking you and not letting you off.

I don't have much proof that I wrote and cancelled or that I called and cancelled. If someone doesn't stop these people they are getting rich, but frauduently.
Any suggestions? How about getting the us postal service involved?
