Rip-off fraudulent scam con-artist

Rebecca Garcia took a Magazine Subscription from me for Popular Science; 24 issues; $50. I was told this was for her and her friend to get points toward a Senior trip to Cancun, Mexico. I wrote the check and a week later it was cashed.

I have yet to receive the Magazine and I see from usacomplaints. Coms posted here that I may never see it. I have attempted to contact their office in Coral Springs - never to get a live person. BUT!!! There is recourse!

PLEASE, if you are eager to seek restitution, do as I am doing:

1) Call your local Police Department and file a report. YOUR Police Dpt. Will contact the Coral Springs Police Dpt. To assist in an investigation.

2) The Broward County Court Clerk (http://www.browardclerk.org) has forms (Summons Notice of Pretrial Hearing AND Statement of Claim) to be filled out and sent to File Suit against the Company. When you win, the court awards the cost to file back to you. $55 (Money Order only) to Broward County Clerk of Courts, 201 SE 6th ST, Room 120, Ft Lauderdale, FL 33301 and $20 (personal check okay) to Broward Sheriffs Office.

Send the forms and MO/check via Certified Mail. IF the company does not pay up the Clerk will assist in filing for Lein's against the company and any of its assets.

We can fight back!!! You wanted to help someone - that's why you bought the Magazines; now, help yourself and do your part to shut these people down.
