Im 17 and 300 in debt without warning

I worked for a farmer and he was banking at national city and he checks are from there so i went there to cash the check and the lady told me it would be 10 dollars if i didn't start checking account with them so i said alright and i filled out a few papers (im only 17) well i get a debt and the lady told me once i run out of money it will stop working so one day i got gas then to get oil and it wouldnt work so i figured i was out of money so i stopped using it till i got paid 2 weeks later i went to the bank and they said i was 178 in debt i was like wow you told me i couldnt go over they said i went over 9 dollars getting gas then over daft fees were like 30 a day i told them to cancel my card and i would pay as soon i could they told me THEY WOULDNT BILL ME ANYMORE THAN 178... Well couple weeks later i get a letter in the mail im 300 in debt i was like holy crap they said i could take my time paying this bill and im im like 120 more in debt what the heck... I called the bank yesterday which the date was 8/8/08 and asked how old do you have to be to start a checking account the lady answered back 18 or a parent co sign... I was like lady im 17 and was in there and signed up now im 300 in debt whats the deal and she was like uhhhh anything else i can help you with sir and i was like yeah your screwing me... Somebody please tell me theres something i can do...
